Leadership Development Programmes – Structure

The Leader Development Programme (LDP) is presented over four sessions. Each session is two full days. Two areas of Mastery are covered per session. A month break between sessions allows participants time to process, integrate and apply the learnings back in the workplace.

Coaching Circles form an integral part of the participants learning experience and they are exposed to Coaching Circles throughout the four sessions. After the four sessions, participants have 2 more one day Coaching Circle sessions. This ensures monitoring, encouragement, integration and impact assessment of the leaders’ transformation.

Session 1: Sensing the Business Context and Servant Leadership

A month prior to attending the Leader Development programme, pre-work readings will be given to all participants in preparation for the first 2 areas of mastery presented over 2 consecutive days. Each day ends with a coaching circle.

1 Month recess - Back on the job application
A month break for pre-work readings, assignments and on the job action plans will help participants to further deepen the learnings as well as prepare for the next 2 areas of mastery.  This  time also allows participants to process, integrate and apply the learnings gained over the 2 days.

When participants return after a month’s break, Block 2 will begin with a review of Block 1 and a Coaching Circle.  The next 2 areas of mastery will then be presented over 2 consecutive days.  Each day ends with a coaching circle.
